These PG-13 rated teen comedies were so comfy.

Also notable for probably the worst British accent since Dick Van Dyke (and being a weird Sisqo vehicle).

Literally no way they didn't. With the lighting, the cameras, the angles. Multiple takes. ScarJo would have been aware of the upskirt shot and let it go to film. This was I think right before Lost in Translation or around the same time, so she might have been afraid of sueing to affect her career, but like I said, she probably knew. They probably even told her which panties to wear.>>213729340

This is some tonally bizarre, sexy-thriller, depleted ozone-layer, barren desert near-apocalypse, scifi-horror, black-comedy, and women with nice breasts kino. It's got the young guy from Lost Highway, scary-hot milf Alice Krige with her gigantic prominent nipples, and a younger woman with also nice tits. It's a strange one. I first caught it on the Sci-Fi channel in the late 90s. It's on youtube to watch.

This was an ABC Family movie, so I guess it never became that widely known. But it was hilarious! Stars Gary Cole (i.e. the evil boss from Office Space) and Sherilyn Fenn (i.e. the hottie from "Twin Peaks"). A glam rocker who gave it all up and got a respectable day job finds himself drawn back into his glory days. His family doesn't know about his past.

Loved this as a kid. Fun, goofy, and an imaginative planet with cheap creatures and production design they bring to life. One weird thing in retrospect though, is that the main characters, Jeffrey Jones and Teri Garr, are abducted at the beginning of the movie and have this adventure on an alien planet...and barely ever seen in the capacity as Mom and Dad.

I think this is the movie. The guy and the girl capture one of the bad guys and take him to a motel room. The bad guy is tied up to a chair and the main character grills him for information. Then this love interest comes out of the bathroom, clearly having just showered, wearing nothing but a towel. She says something like "Should I beat him up again?"

I don't know the exact words, but wow. Even as a barely pubescent kid watching that, it felt kind of arousing. Someone making the movie probably felt so too.

I'm not the only one who remembers it, but probably the only anon in /tv/ who remembers it; which is sad, because it really is the perfect 80's movie:

"Roadie" (1980)
> Meat Loaf plays a beer truck driver and mechanical genius who gets talked into becoming the roadie for a rock and roll tour
> Has several cameos by (at the time) A-list musicians
> Deborah Harry (lead singer of Blondie) looking hotter than ever

Funny true story.
The crackpot remote viewing "expert" in this movie, viewed in black and white 100% real FBI footage, is the father of a guy my sister used to date. Something-or-other Dames. It escapes me.
I met him one time and he launched into a tirade about sasquatch being an interdimensional traveler. When I began asking the several questions this statement raised, he got super angry and eventually called me an asshole. Which, in all fairness, was not an inaccurate accusation.
His weird Asian wife left him for Brad Dourif, of Grima Wormtongue fame. Her name is Hoi Ping, but we just always called her Bok Choi. She was a dick to my little sister and thought her son was too good for her. Like, vocally. Ad nauseam.

tl;dr Fuck 'em both.

okay its not that close but its pretty fucking clearly inspired by it.

>>213739579
not that related but the stay tooned game i mentioned above has a minigame scene where you shave your cat fiddle in a western saloon style bar. you put the cream on him, shave the layer off, repeat till done. for some reason, you could keep repeating the cream/shaving, until you shaved fiddles beard completely clean, then shave the skin off, then shave the muscles right to the bone...

I've been on a binge of flops or films that barely made any money recently. My theory is that a 20 year old flop is likely going to be a better film than Netflix slop, and it's usually true.

Anyway, After the Sunset

This might actually be the worst example of stapling actors' faces onto the bodies for a poster I've seen. Pat Morita and the Black Guy look like the animated intro from Rat Race.

Never saw the movie, but I remember the interview on Late Night with Conan where Brendan Frasier was promoting it and showed off some Chinese bootleg DVDs of his movies:
