I watched like 20 seasons of this and the spinoffs. Would only recommend season 1 of the Walking Dead and season 1 of Fear the Walking Dead if you want actual good television. Only continue watching if you enjoy the same boring drama every season, enjoy the general atmosphere of the show and have a favorite character to follow among the many ulikeable protagonists

Looking back fear the walking dead season 1-3 were pretty good, perhaps the best thing the walking dead franchise as a whole has to offer, the change of scenery from the original show was so well done

i watched up until Negan arrived, after that i couldnt even enjoy hatewatching it anymore
i cant remember a single season that i would say was good
even season 1 thats often hailed as the only good one in reality just has a few good episodes
i wonder if its really worth it for actors to just stagnate their careers for decades in a show like this, but i guess its harder and harder to find work even in hollywood

Why do people waste so much time watching crap like this? Do they expect the quality to randomly shoot up midway through?

The problem was that Walking Dead took both the science fiction and horror aspects too far. You can't make believable SF if your plot is completely disconnected from reality. And you can't put horror on TV that's so extreme that audiences are literally vomiting in their mouths. But that's exactly what they did with the Glenn/Maggie "AMWF" fetish fantasy.

Fortunately based Neegan eventually fixed that problem, but only after TWD was banned for obscenity in several countries. I would post a picture but this is a blue board.

He keeps talking about vibes or atmostphere. I can see being into the show on that level. Some people are very far gone in their lonliness. Even I've started doing things I thought I'd never do as the years pass by with no companionship.

It's ok bro. We all get lonely and just want to fill the void. We have to pre occupy our time with something. In some of my lonely stints I started listening to dvd commentaries for shows I liked on repeat. I even knew all the producers and writers name at one point. I knew the commentaries as much as the episodes.
