Bond 26
I'm privy to information that the casting process is heating up and will reach its final stages by September as they want to have a Bond announced by October 5.
Leo Suter and Tom Brittney are currently the frontrunners and the only ones to be brought in for a third round of auditioning. Auditions have been going on since way before Villeneuve's public announcement as director. Shooting will start in March 2026 with pre-production already underway. They want this thing out by October 2027, six years to the day since No Time To Die.
Denis has no final cut privilege or creative control on the project and will act as a hired hand for a big payday. The film will have a 250 million budget and an enormous marketing budget. The aim is to make Bond a consistent billion-dollar franchise with each release.
The current script draft is NOT a retread of the Craig-era style and tone but a throwback to the franchise's pulpy roots. The central concept is as high-concept as it gets and very reminiscent of Tomorrow Never Dies and You Only Live Twice. Big globe-trotting race against time type deal.
The aim is to have a shooting script by December. Continued...

So will Bond go back to his woman-slapping and guessing the age of a liquor or will he continue to be a an Americanized, watered down shitty parody of his former self?

Is Bezos going to force his money-grubbing whore wife on to the film?

I wouldn't get my hopes up on that but it's, at the very least, a nostalgic throwback to the Brosnan and Connery eras, with some Moore thrown in. They want this to have maximum audience appeal and be a total 180 from the Daniel Craig era. I'd say it's a lot like what is happening with a lot of franchises currently, where they had a "dark and gritty" phase and the next reboot pivots hard to the classic tropes. The script's base conceit is about a nuclear coding device that is imbedded with quantum drives that "absorb" nuclear data and effectively taking a country's nuclear arsenal hostage. Something to that effect.

Haha, well if she does show up, it'd be a quick cameo in a news report or something to that effect. Maybe that story is blown out of proportion..

>effectively taking a country's nuclear arsenal hostage

they really do just write what they know don't they

Those two actors are completely unknown. Any idea who could be a Bond girl? And don't even mention Zendaya.

>Consistent billion dollar franchise.
Amazon wants James Cameron's Avatar money.

That's the idea, anon. These guys are unknowns who would actually SURPRISE people when they're announced as opposed to just saying "oh, yeah, ATJ is Bond I guess.." and better choices than ATJ. I'd say Suter has the upper hand and will be chosen. Too early for Bond girls but expect a mid-to-late 20's British actress like Ella Hunt to be the template for the Bond girl.

The concept is that a rogue organization of nuclear extremists wants to gather all nuclear arsenals in quantum AI-powered drives into one device to hold the world hostage or blow it all up. Classic Spectre scheme but they're not Spectre. There's 3 scenes from Knight's current draft that actors audition with:
>a classic Bond, James Bond scene in a casino with a femme fatale character
>a M briefing in an abandoned Spanish villa
>an interrogation turned fight scene

If it's one franchise that could reach Avatar, it's Bond. It all depends if the movie is executed well and they stick to a movie-every-two-years schedule like before Craig. They could easily make it happen with good planning and effort.

Why do you only talk about either Bond or the minor side characters, you've refused to say one thing about the villain

Not a single "I know what the Bond producers are doing" troll post on this site has ever been accurate. Like, not even close. Just stop already, dude.

OP here. We are currently scouring the Congo to find the blackest human imaginable to play bond.
