South Park used to be a decent political satire not afraid of questioning the establishment. But then when Trump won in 2016 the creators had a meltdown and turned into huge libshits and started to shit on Trump. From then the show started to suck and went down south

The more you seethe about South Park, the worse it’s going to get. That’s been the show’s entire formula for almost three decades. They pick at whatever makes people furious, and the second you lash out, you guarantee it will be revisited, exaggerated, and turned into a recurring gag.

We just watched it in real time. Kristi Noem called the parody “lazy and petty” without even seeing it, then 24 hours later changed her profile picture to the cartoon version like she was “in on the joke.” JD Vance did the same thing, pretending it was some badge of honor. That isn’t winning, that’s exactly what the show wanted. You fed them the material, they used it, and you doubled down by advertising it yourself.

South Park has always thrived on outrage. When conservatives complain, it’s like dumping high octane jet fuel into the writers’ room. Every angry tweet, every offended press release, every “how dare they” speech just guarantees more airtime and harsher jabs. You can’t out meme Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They have been doing this since before half their critics were even old enough to watch.

If you really wanted them to stop, you would ignore it. But you won’t, because politicians can’t resist posturing and culture warriors can’t resist signaling. That is why the cycle never ends. There's nothing edgy about making small dick jokes about Trump. Its lame, low effort, Hollywood establishment approved slop. The sort of joke I'd expect out of a 45 year old wine aunt getting hammered in the middle of the day at a vegan bistro.
