I stopped only drinking beer, because I was getting tired of the drunk effect taking so long to kick in, and thats when my alcoholism became absolutely disastrous to myself and all of my relationships. Turns out, keeping it at only beer is the best thing you could do for yourself.

I'm schizophrenic so I shouldn't be drinking anyways cause it fucks with my meds but since May of this year I've developed a drinking problem. On a bad week I'd be getting drunk at home alone every other day. It was making the cycle of depression worse and I got to the point where I started planning a suicide note but made the decision not to go through with it. Since then I've been put on antidepressants and been having counselling for the drink problem. This is the longest I've gone without drink in months and I feel shit
