There's actually are actually really insightful interviews with several actors who talk about this.
One of them is Terrence Howard (Rhodey from Iron Man 1). Terrance said behind the scenes there was intense pressure on him to do some gay scenes or play a gay character. His agent told him that some studios would not cast him unless he agreed to do gay scenes. Terrence refused and said he won't sacrifice his manhood for money. He claims he got blacklisted from some studios and Producers for not bending the knee and doing gay scenes.
Terrance said that all famous actors often bend the knee and do gay scenes. Every single modern A list actor today has done gay roles or has done gay favors. He said Hollywood wants to corrupt you and see how much they can toy with actors and humiliate them. Terrance pointed out every Avenger in Marvel has done gay scenes in their career to secure their careers.
He even started talking about how Tom Holland did a gay role and pointed out how it messed up Tom afterwards. Tom had to disappear for weeks on vacation because he claimed it took so much out of him.
Terrance said that's because it hurt Tom's soul. He gave up his "man card" for money and now the studios know Tom will sell his soul for money and fame. That now Tom will never be able to look at himself in the mirror with pride again because he lost his manhood. He will never forget it and people will always mock him for it.
