It's a remake of a chink CG cartoon that has over 100 episodes and ongoing. I haven't watched either, but I'd rather get into the latter so the story isn't incomplete. >feels like a live action anime
On the same vein, I recommend The Blood of Youth, vid related.
>no character exploring their sexuality or the "systematic oppression" holding them down >weird designs but they're not ugly >used 1000 bugs vs 100 jeets
The Chinese film discourse really shows how everyone has goldfish memory now. For all of the 2010s "appealing to china" was synonymous with making childish dogshit cgi fest garbage like Transformers, Fast & Furious, and Marvel slop, nothing but flashing colors and loud noises, the cinematic equivalent of jingling keys. EVERYONE was pointing to China as a major cause of the decline of movie quality.
Now that they're "anti woke"(please do not forget they're literal commies) and they like boobs suddenly they're all connoisseurs who are gonna save cinema.
The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend sometimes everyone is retarded.
>blueish gray character fighting purplish gray character in a gray environment under a gray sky doing a stupid choreography that's so quick and choppy and badly directed that you can barely discern any of the individual moves
What is it with people from China and India making such terrible fight scenes?

All of Asia and the diaspora (and weebs) is losing their shit over Demon Slayer right now as it sets records both in and outside Japan. Fake China movie is supposedly a $2 billion phenomenon and it was ignored outside China. Synthetic and sodomite box office
