Chuck and Howie were equal partners.
Chuck was NEVER going to allow Jimmy to become a partner, so Howie's hands were tied.
By the time Chuck had killed himself, Jimmy had already created too much bad blood between himself and Howie.

Chuck wasnt right about everything. Jimmy wasnt the reason their Dad's store went bust, and he never owned up to completely hating Jimmy most of his life. Even in the end saying "you dont mean that much to me" it was a lie.
Chuck is a piece of shit. Theres a reason their mother cried for Jimmy in her last words, and why everyone likes him even Howard

I will also add Chuck's mental illness starts not after the divorce but after he finds out Jimmy passes the bar

why would chuck want kim in doc review?
why would howard put her there even after she got them mesa verde
they never really cleared up whether or not it was chuck who orchestrated her in doc review or if it was just howard so it seemed like they want us to think it was just howard behind that shit, so thats a bullshit on him
