His movies are overrated

Bruce is overrated for sure, but his movies were good. His style looks good on camera so the stunt work still holds up decades later.

I always had the opposite opinion - the movies suck really hard and he carried them.

His shitty movies aren't even good. All they are is what the kids call ''aura farming.''
Bruce Lee doesn't perform a single impressive stunt other than swinging nunchucks like half of people who go on America's Got Talent.
He just stands there and does poses and actors act intimidated like he is raping their chi.

We know for a fact that Bruce Lee was a Chinese spy and his career was astroturfed by the Chinese because they were mad that the rest of the world was making fun of China and American soldiers were coming home talking about how small and weak Chinese men are.
The most insane thing about the situation is that men from China came to America after Bruce Lee who were actually really good martial artists and stuntmen. But you can't say that Bruce Lee is a hack and every Hong Kong martial arts guy mogs him, because Bruce Lee has been declared a god by the Chinese government. Saying Bruce Lee sucked is blasphemy.
MMA guys to this day suck Bruce Lee's dick because if they don't they'll lose job opportunities and sponsors.

Theyre plain awful.
