Sometimes the DVD is vastly inferior to the Bluray.

Just how long can a cd/dvd/bluray last? I worry the material will eventually degrade after 15 years and become unreadable.

I say this 'cause I have a bunch of ps1 games, and they look like they literally rotted. Despite sitting in their cases for decades.

Strange. Absolutely all of my ps1/ps2 games and dvds from the turn of the century are fine. My CDs from the 80s and 90s are fine.

Never had a disc of any kind ever "rot". Do you live in a jungle or something?

Are there good online stores for physical media?
I go to ebay and Amazon by default. If there was a better and/or cheaper place to buy DVDs/Blu-rays I'd like to know.

The quality of rewritable DVD/Bl-rays 10 years, could be about the same as a HDD. They say you have to move the data around every 4-5 years to keep for corruption.
