The black actor was insisting the director would find a way to continue the story whether through books/comics or something else, but I feel like that guy talks out of his ass a lot. There has been no mention of it since. I would totally buy a book or graphic novel continuing the story.

I liked the retro sci-fi aesthetic of this, but I honestly don't think the show itself was more than below average to average depending on the particular episode, with a few dips into outright bad. I can't remember anything in the above average or good range that wasn't a visual. The visuals were good, don't get me wrong.

That said, I don't get the hate for the show. I didn't dislike it outside a couple points here and there. There's been masses of far worse put to film.
