It has got humour, action and drama. And suspense. Cruise carries the movie. It's got sorrow and mourning too. Sacrifice. In the end, it's just like a stand up comedy show, you can only watch it once.

And it's got Bill Paxton. The Last Great Kentuckian. No clue why you dorks think it can only be watched once. Just like Groundhog's Day, it has plenty of rewatchability and is lots of fun.

the idea is pretty cool. Could have been better.
I just realized Tom Cruise's character is diving in the final scene probably because Tom Cruise the actor can hold his breath for a long time. Its not a good cinematography though, the last Mission Impossible suffered.
