I thought the film was fun to watch but Krypto interrupting Lex was annoying and unnecessary. It denied what could’ve been a legendary moment from Lex. I’m not against interrupting speeches but here it felt off and the whedonisms not quite leaving Gunn’s system yet. Oh well, Jack interrupted speeches better anyway.

its mostly about that really poorly done and unnecessary Boravia subplot. I think the left that praise the movie for it are so dumb because the whole subplot is so poorly made. The entire caricature president character, the children being in the middle of a one-sided "battlefield" raising the superman flag, the hawkgirl scene... i cringed watching .

This movie is very conservative. Refugee comes to US and integrates. Rejects his hostile Jew heritage for midwestern values his adopted parents taught him.
