I know but in reality, other than just trying to be faithful to the book, they could just have let us seen a completely unique world they made for the AYYS.
I know the whole point of this type of suspense is about the imagination and mystery of the viewer/reader but I would actually like a first contact movie where we actually see the AYYs world.
Stuff like this, arrival (amy addams movie) and Kpax are all movies that I would like to see the actual follow up, see the AYYs world and in the future humanity reaching the stars and travelling to distant races worlds.
best we get is shit like star wars and star trek which is pretty shit desu.

I want to see a movie or sequel of movies that are like hard science about humans discovering aliens and travelling to their planets and visa versa.
