I.E., Starship Troopers is a story about the kind of society they hate the most: A brave, clean, free, safe, frictionless democracy that achieved this through hyper-meritocracy and the restriction of franchise from lesser people.

This is the most offensive thing imaginable to a Left Wing Pig. To the Left Wing Pig, the ideal society is ugly, dysgenic, cowardly, run by women and deformed freaks (left wing men) and its central focus is punishing merit and rewarding "victimhood," which actually just means punishing merit more.

Left Wing People hate their own children, and they hate people who love their children, so of course nationalism and courage are considered deplorable traits. They hate justice because they perceive criminals as the victims, they hate the idea that criminals, cowards and scum not be allowed to dictate the political direction of the nation.

Because they hate everything that is good, they depict a "dystopia" that is literally the most ideal sort of society, and then act shocked that people assume that these "Fascists" are the heroes.

I believe Verhooven cooked his brain on blow during Showgirls, made Troopers because he thought this shit was awesome, and then when he sobered up later he tried to pass it off as satire. Helldivers really brought this back to public consciousness, where every leftie journalist tries to say both of them are parodies of the military industrial complex. If anything they're promoting self sacrifice for the good of the nation, in both humanity is facing total annihilation by aliens and volunteering to get yourself turned into ground beef by a bug while taking down hundreds of them is shown as the highest honour. I think its a symptom of being born after 9/11, they always focus on how soldiers die horribly while fighting to save their species, as if war is supposed to be this thing where you show up and let robots and pilots cleanse the field.

The Left has MADE them into an appealing alternative to their own desired future, which is a pack of black trannies stomping on a white child for eternity.

It's been years since I read the book but I don't think so? In the book the aliens are very advanced, have high tier technology, are capable of diplomacy, and generally have it out for humanity. They even try to forge an alliance with some other alien race just to have more troops. I don't remember any part of the book that implies the humans instigated it, can you tell me which page or chapter?
