somebody probably very old told the Rock it was okay to fail so even after he lied about the box office he felt good because at least he tried

You have a story where the draw is the MC is from a time of brutal morality that may or may not even be heroic by the standards of his legend, and there's obvious allusions to the American Occupation of the Middle East with the supporting characters resenting the fuck out o the occupiers and West in general.
But they were too cowardly to actually make Adam be possibly disagreeable, everyone he kills is not only a bad person they give probable cause before they're killed. All the residents of not!Iraq only resent the "criminal" occupiers who are totally not affiliated with America even the kid stand-in character is a lame fanboy because they all are, Team America is never even questioned on their inaction towards Intergang but came running as soon someone could effectively resist them. Like c'mon you can't tell me there's an original script where Waller is somehow in cahoots with Intergang. Adam's dark unforgivable sin is that he murdered a vicious warlord but he went too far because the guy was also a fucking coward.
It was a boring toothless movie, I'm mad for having watched it.

The best part of the film (JSA fight) takes place in the middle of the film
and the Rock refused to have Black Adam take over the country and become their new king at the end
Should have had Black Adam kill Hawkman 5000 years ago then it gives Hawk a reason to want to kill him in the modern world
