thought this was kinda slow in the first half when it was just about social awkwardness and sally hawkins manipulation but it ended pretty kino in the end

I also really enjoyed Bring Her Back and I wish more anons would give it a shot. I have to say though, t's an incredibly bleak movie all things considered.

I love that the thing possessing Connor didn't really have a personality that was malicious in a human way, and it instead acted as an animal or force of nature that simply wants to devour things, biting into inanimate objects all the time and pacified by circles.
My only gripe with this movie is that the pacing/tempo of it was incredibly fucking weird, and if everything else wasn't so good, it could've sunk the movie. Now it's just a thing that keeps this a strong 8 instead of a 9 or even 10.
