The finale episode is just a month out from Predator: Badlands. I am calling it now: there is a flashback episode that shows the species were all collected from the planet in Predator: Badlands. There was a synthetic aboard the ship (Not Mr. Teng, he is a red-herring) who was left on the planet--that's the synth in Predator: Badlands.

The final twist will be a Predator snuck aboard their ship and there is no a Predator on earth.

So we have an organ replacing parasite, probably inspired by the tongue louse, in the form of eyeball. A mite-like ectoparasite, and a paralyzing parasitoid that is the xenomorph.

I'm taking a guess that one of the two remaining is a mind-altering parasitoid, possibly the type that makes the host care for the young parasites, since that's been such an underrated angle for parasite horror.

Don't quite see the writers being hardcore enough to make one a parasitic castrator. Maybe a social parasite? Or maybe just the classic type that burrows into flesh and goes eating.

This caused me immense confusion when I was 11. I could see that these two characters were talking about the events of Aliens as their own experiences, sometimes with flashbacks to familiar scenes, clearly placing them in the roles of Hicks and Newt, yet the names were different and I had seen Hicks and Newt die in Alien 3. It was a long time before I learned the history behind it.

They could have just put a brief foreword explaining the change on the title page of each issue, and saved readers like me from perplexity.
