FWWM and The Return came directly from Lynch and they comprise a fairly large chunk of work. They are the real Twin Peaks to me. I agree that the original series is underwhelming, or at least, it hasn't aged well. Most of its fans seem to enjoy it for the waifus and little else.

IMO one of his best. FWWM is everything the series wasn't but what the show was actually about, if that makes sense. Strip away the quirky humor and mild soap opera elements and instead focus exclusively on the surreal horror and extreme trauma drama and you have FWWM. It's like a reply to himself, where maybe he considered the extreme darkness the tv series was based on and thought, well let's show them what the last week of Laura Palmer's life was like, and that's the movie. 10/10, would watch again - and have, many times!

She's the only virginal one at the start of the show, despite being a wannabe femme fatale, and she's easily the smartest and most resourceful out of the three, as well as the most sympathetic, as she is the only one who sees how much Leland is suffering when he compulsively dances. She is easily the hottest, just oozing pure sex throughout the show. I admire Cooper, but I low-key judge him for being too much of a goody-two-shoes to hit that when she basically threw herself at him for almost two seasons.
