Just do a proper Future War movie and at the end John can find out that Skynet is targeting his mom in the past. Then the sequel could be a slight remake of T1 with better tech

Alien Earth hasn't done anything useful yet, while Romulus was a silly patchwork of old usual stuff.
Predator Prey was boring and cheap, Killer of Killers quite dumb and was horrid CGI, Badlands won't be kino and expect the disneybots come out with "my waifu" to save the movie.
Don't be fooled by paid outlets or "critics" praising this or that, people aren't interested enough.

You can't. Everything was already told with too many movies and other productions. Maybe a total reboot that improves the old story can save the brand, but... who cares?

The Sarah Connor Chronicles was a good idea and could have revived interest in Terminator had it not been shackled by censorship and then, in season 2, burdened with a cringe performance by Shirley Manson.

Terminator needs to be dark, its characters should despairingly believe that the world will end, has in fact already ended down the line, and that there's only a very slim chance of changing that destiny. Part of the required darkness lies with its violence. It doesn't need to be Ichii the Killer, but deaths should take place onscreen and should not be bloodless.

They should also stop using the old theme music. Time for a change.

Make a tv show set in the future war. Make season one really disturbing with the humans losing.

One episode takes place in an extermination camp, show the capture of character, arrival at the camp, hard labor, a futile escape attempt and finally being worked to death.

Another episode could be from skynets point of view. Capturing a human, interrogation, vivisection body horror type stuff of Skynet figuring out how the human body and mind works. Using that knowledge to create the flesh of terminators.

There is nothing to save. The story has already concluded with the first and second films. You are the retards who for some unknown reason believe all stories should continue past their resolution to somehow make thirty more perfect unplanned sequels that also perfectly jive together making a coherent canon. Pretty idiotic of you to think this. And the future war was already done in Terminator Resistance better than any movie will ever do. And certainly better than any tv show which as you can see by Alien Earth will need to be low budget and make up a bunch of shit that upsets fans because they need filler

They should do a movie where a predator comes to hunt on earth but it's an earth where skynet won and the predator fights T-800's

- half of T4 (salvation) was alright too, but focusing on avatarman and AI crap was shit

Use the future war scenes in 1 and 2 as a guide for a new movie that’s entirely set during night (with all the blue lighting) and make it entirely about fighting the terminators and the mission to get the time travel tech leading up to what’s his face traveling back to Sarah. No day time terminator bullshit. All night and most the main characters die except. Limit dialogue, make it more suspenseful, sense of feeling hunted like in that black mirror episode.

Fuck franchises. Fuck them. I am so fucking sick of this shit. We are beyond trilogies. We are on Halloween 17. Terminator 8. Alien vs Abbot and Costello. Spider-Man 9.

So take the Terminator franchise and shove it up your ass. Make a new time travel movie. Make a new killer robot movie. Make it dark and rated R. And fuck James Cameron. He stole the whole idea for Terminator from Demon with the Glass Hand.
