The only people who can afford to be actors are people who are related to those already doing it or who are related to people rich enough and already have connections. Maybe there wasn’t as much nepotism in the silent film era but I’d bet you there was still some. Acting has always been an incentous faggoty industry. An actor from an acting dynasty killed Lincoln.
