Season 2 fucking sucks. Wednesday and Enid are the core of the show and they barely spend time together. More stupid romance with boy of the week nonsense. Either make them solve crimes together or make them gay or let them be friends, but stop with the Disney tier filler episodes WHERE NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENS holy shit.

Someone, or more than one person integral to the show must have gotten annoyed about the Wednesday/Enid “Lesbian” speculations.
The Agnes DeMille character stalking Wednesday, and all the student fan girls in the first episode, seem to be written as a satyrical take on the Lesbian internet rumors/desires.

I don't really think it's about telling the fans to fuck off. The second season has NO DIRECTION. We don't have an antagonist. Our protagonists are either one note and impotent (Wednesday), flighty and clueless (Enid), fucking disgusting (Pugsley), or being manipulated (Bianca).
Doesn't help that the parents are sulking up screentime.

Season 1 was terrible. Completely misunderstood the source material. They made a season-long mystery about whether Gomez killed someone, as if it would be a dark secret if he had. Meanwhile in the Addams Family movies:

Season 1 was an ok watch, nothing more nothing less. Shit only blew up due to the dance scene.

Season 2 just feels cheaper, like a downgrade in every aspect. The writers have added way too many characters (none of which are particularly interesting, well acted or likeable except for the redhead) that they have no idea what do to do with, and the plot is all over the place.

Also the actors ages are starting to show and they're clearly using filters, if they take another 3 years for season 3 shit's gonna look comical
