Is there any way to go back to before I started noticing propaganda in every show and film? Or am I just stuck like this forever, noticing?

I used to be able to just enjoy things. To watch even the sloppiest slop and at least be entertained. Now I'm constantly aware of social messages or phrases that were in the media at the time, I can't stop seeing what races and characteristics get associated with certain traits and virtues.

I can't take the news seriously anymore. Anytime a real life political event is brought into a tv show or movie I want to roll my eyes. If its making fun of it and the jokes are funny, then thats sometimes okay. Usually the propaganda is so bad and blatant all I can do is laugh and shake my head.
