Crazy no matter how shit a new show is theres always a 24/7 general for it. Totally organic
How bad is episode 3 going to be?
>>213815395>talking about a currently airing show on the show board>I'M GOING INSAAAAAAANEEEEEE
>>213815401probably very much shit and piss all over, they hit us with the good stuff in the first two to hook us up, now comes filler time
>>213815395It's genuinely more entertaining to watch the collapse of the mutt entertainment industry than any of the so-called 'entertainment.'
>>213815395Welcome to /tv/ where we talk about whatever is new because we've seen everything else and are tired of talking about all that
>>213815381 (OP)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMyCa35_mOg
>>213815395I must be "shillbot 6000", sent from FX at 2:30 am, stoned off my gourd, to discuss a show that I don't actually like.
You fucking schizos make me wanna puke.
>2 episodes
>literally nothing fucking happens
>no character-building at all
>>213815647what did you want to happen?
>>213815647I've learned enough about the characters and their motivations so far. There are many more episodes to come. You watch too much ticktock if you are thinking much more should already be revealed. No attention span having little shit. Put down the phone and go to bed.
baked.live/tv/trek
always on
>>213815782>You watch too much ticktock if you are thinking much more should already be revealed in 2 hours of runtime.Damn, do you watch the movies at 0.5x speed or something?
This is basically a reboot of Alien right?
No way they can tie it in with the OG movie.
>>213816007Are you new to the concept of a SERIES? Of one you can't "binge stream" all at once? You fucking kids, you just can't wait.
No, I'm normal and you're the hyperdrive screen-obsessed little whiner.
>>2138160072 hours out of 10 or 12? Save some shit for later.
>>213815603shan't be considering resurrection canon
fuck i thought episodes in the night but i was wrong
>>213815395A new Alien show would of course warrant that level of engagement cause Alien is a /tv/ staple as much as the Nolan Batman movies.
>>213816088There is no excuse for 2 hours of boring nothingness.
>>213815395>>213815401>>213815408>>213815420>>213815443>>213815495>>213815647The show is better then the original alien. I literally walked out of Romulus when that robot said "get away from here you bitch" line or whatever. I never want to see another slasher alien, trapped in a spaceship slop again. You're all boomers who are afraid of the future.
>>213816238I asked in the previous thread and someone lied to me, I thought it would be out as well :(
>>213816278Yes it was probably this cunt
>>213816238
>>213816088More happens in an average Young and the Restless or Days of Our Lives episode. If your attention span is more drawn out than old women, you're not normal.
>>213815603Where do these dates come from? I don't remember it was specified in the first movie.
>>213816260Yeah, you're right. It's totally boring and nothing happened. A fucking xenomorph isn't loose on a planet of evolved and peaceful people which different factions of people with different priorities race to trap/exterminate it. There aren't whole backstories and multiple characters and plots being introduced and woven together. Nothing happens at all. No grisly deaths, no explosions. No intrigue of any kind.
Just stop watching. It's clearly a fucking bore.
Trolls used to be good at their jobs, faggot.
>>213816361Dialogue, dates on work stations and screens, etc. The dates are one of the things we know for sure.
>>213815603they should change the name to Alien: Prometheus to keep with the theme, fucking retards
>>213815395Discussing a shitshow is a lot more fun than all gathering to suck off a great show, honestly.
Make predictions for episode 3 no matter how stupid.
>more scenes of guy freezing door
>wendy runs back "oh yeah I can jump" then jumps after the xeno
>medic alive
>xeno protecting medic because psychic link with android or some bull shit
>>213816576Wendy and the medic have a heart to heart conversation purely using dialogue from the Ice Age series while the Alien stands in the background not knowing what to do while sharing the screen with two main characters.
>>213815603>>213816402That 2 and 3 take place in the same year seems strange, the 2 planets must have been extremely close.
>>213816439You prefer negativity.
>>213816531That's disgusting. You people are disgusting.
>>213816629Yeah. It's even weirder when you consider 1 through 3 take place in a couple of months from Ripley's PoV (adding the time she worked in the space station docks in Aliens) while 57 years passed in the universe.
>>213816685It's ok anon, the last one wasn't ticked
>>213816264>Romulus>original alien.lolwut?
>You're all boomers who are afraid of the future.Yet for some reason instead of discussing this future you prefer wasting time on fighting those boomers on the internet. Surely you have a good reasons for that completely unrelated to the fact there is nothing to discuss about this show

>>213816629Not close at all, but they're in a military vessel.
I don't mind a little plot armor sometimes, but isn't it the director's job to hide it as best as possible?
>xeno tears to shred a room full of guests in 10 seconds then gently wrestle with a main character for 1 full minute
>xeno tears to shred a room full of soldier in 10 seconds then gently poke a main character for 1 full minute
this is so fucking hilariously bad
>>213816889>beta virginisLOL

๐
>>213816896Well I know it ignored the cyborg because its priority is to kill humans, but it didn't seem to care that the cyborg was trying to protect it.
I always just get mad at the very premise of it every time, and that's that the big bad corporation wants the scary powerful "weapon" so bad they will sacrifice anything and anyone assuming that THIS time they can contain the "cargo" or the "package" or the "specimen".
At least with the newer Ridley Scott movies you had David kind of going hog wild with his own evolutionary and genetics experiments. The idea that over and over they just want to vaguely "trap" the xenomorph to contain and study and weaponize it seems foolhardy considering how many times it's absolutely wasted everyone it comes in contact with but Ripley.
I know that just because WE all know that that they think they can just keep changing the timeline so every new crew is totally ignorant to it and yet, what, Weyland-Yutani already knows, or they just automatically program all of their ships and cyborgs to value some fucking acid spitting kill machine over their employees and the ship and possibly everything aboard it?
Is that really what we're supposed to keep accepting? I think I missed the 3rd and 4th movies in the 90s, but has it EVER worked? Have they gotten even close to capturing one of those things??

Only 6 episodes left, hope he'll get it cleaned up in time.
>>213817256Hopefully this episode will have a shot of him scrubbing with a sponge
what are we predicting for end credits music this week? reviews mentioned Black Sabbath, Tool, Jane's Addiction, Metallica and Pearl Jam, and we've got two of them down.
I'm guessing "Enter Sandman" for Metallica because it's too obvious not to include, even if by the end of tonight's episode they will already be back to never-neverland.
Jane's, I'm guessing "Idiots Rule", "Pigs in Zen" or "Mountain Song", maybe "Been Caught Stealing" once the W-Y vs Prodigy bickering heats up.
Never really got into Pearl Jam so I don't know if Jeremy will be speaking in class this season.
>>213816576Ice Age will show up again somehow
>>213817029stop spamming this shit, everyone into alien on this board has seen it at least twice at this point
>>213815381 (OP)>>Noah Hawley is the son of non-fiction writer and feminist activist Louise Armstrongwhen do we get an incest edition because that's the play correct?
>>213817015>because its priority is to kill humansno
>>213816889>but they're in a military vessel. So what, it goes faster than light? What's the point of the cryo pods then? Also an unknown part of the trip was done in a drifting life raft.
>>213815381 (OP)this show is ass
>>213817486All ships in Alien are faster than light it's just that it's not millions of time the speed like in Star Wars where they arrive in minutes or hours, it's several times which still means months/year long journeys.
>>213817015>has it EVER worked? Have they gotten even close to capturing one of those things??for a while in 4, until they got out.
also in Romulus, until they got out.
guess what's gonna happen on the show. I bet you can't.
>>213815395Crazy no matter how good a new show is theres always a 24/7 hate posting brigade. Totally organic.
>>213817256But is it a setup for something? They already showed the guy cleaning the wall two times... are we supposed to guess what torched?
>>213817546I really can't. It will stay imprisoned for years and a parade of tests will be done on it without any harm to the scientists?
>>213817577>>213817256I think it's just ambiance. It means nothing.
>>213817486>What's the point of the cryo pods then? nobody has anything to do until the ship gets to its destination, so rather than running drills for two weeks everyone sleeps it off.
>>213817577supposed to be mold. the planet got more humid in the next hundred years.
alternately it's a weird Hawley background detail like the Bollywood extra in the foliage.
>>213817608But there's something on the wall, and it looks burned... Was it a failed synth experiment? I NEED ANSWERS GODDAMNIT!
>>213817486Even Nostromo traveled faster than light, in Alien Lambert said that they were 10 months away from Earth but the distance between Zeta Reticuli and Earth is 39 light years.
>>213817015More importantly why keep it alive when its such a pain in the ass, they could easily research a bunch of shit about its structure, anatomy and such with just corpses.
Outside of the queens, which are very smart, they dont even have much of an interesting behaviour anyways.
>>213817621Probably. I'm fine with it as it is. It's like the random extras you see behind Picard and Riker while they walk around the ship, you don't know what they do.
>>213817256This is the biggest mystery the show has to offer and I'm excited to see how it lets me down. I'm expecting either a giant super android or more aliens.
>>213817482Yes. And if you want to argue canon, there is none, each movie made up their own shit. So the whole crying about it being too agressive instead of abducting people for impregnation and building a hive is pointless considering the environment. There's an abundance of potential hosts there, but the once posing a threat to the hive can be fair game too. Either way, no need to overthink it because you weren't actually there when David created Xenomorphs, lel.
>>213817435>wendy starts killing aliens with her paper cutter>for whom the bell tolls starts playing
>>213817718>xenomorph murals on the cave millions of years old>David created themanon...
>>213817728>Gets melted into a slurry of plastics and metalsThey better not have her swinging a fucking blade at them, they can't be that dumb
>>213816629FTL is way way faster in Aliens than Alien.
1. Different ships
2. Advances in technology over 57 years
3. Both 1& 2
>>213817615>supposed to be mold. the planet got more humid in the next hundred years. So the planet as a whole got humid and only that particular wall got extra moldy? Is that particular spot kavalier's dedicated cum wall that began growing shrooms or what
>>213817486>>213817615plus sleeping means less rations, energy used, etc. it's more efficient.
>>213815603So is this timeline spoilery by itself? It basically tells you the xeno invasion was defeated and forgotten by the time of Romulus. Also, don't the ships receive news from Earth? Because according to this pic the first movie takes place during or immediatly after the events of Alien: Earth. Nostromo's crew had no ideia of what was going on back home?

>>213817810Weyland-Yutanin covered everything up[, only the higher ups knew. I fully expect the entire island to get nuked by the end of the show to delete everything from the records.
>Nostromo's crew had no ideia of what was going on back home?Nothing was going on. How and why would the crew of a refinery vessel know about what happens in a super secret corporation testing facility back on Earth?
>>213817735>implying it was a xenomorph and not a warning about the dangers of the black goo
>>213817810I can accept that it was probably covered up as just a tragic spaceship crash and nothing more.
>>213817482Between something it knows has protected him already and also won't die easily and fresh meat, it's going to attack the meat. The threat with the weapons. The weirdos in makeup. It doesn't matter.
>>213817857it's a tool of creation and destruction only they use, those weren't warnings, they didn't plan to die and leave some message kek
>>213817486also, here's the RPG's ass-pull explanation since it was never actually important to the movies, but games need stats.
in the RPG, ships have an FTL rating that tells you how many parsecs it can travel per day, so the lower the number, the better. 1 is the minimum, though.
also the RPG assumes a default setting of 2183, a few years after Aliens and Alien3. and "Heliades-class" should be the same type as the Prometheus, with or without 90 years of improvements in technology to make it go faster.
based on the RPG, the same class of ship as the Nostromo's got an FTL rating of 12, Sulaco's got one of 2. Earth to Zeta 2 Reticuli is about 12 parsecs, so 144 days and 24 days minimum.
And I guess they gave the Prometheus an FTL rating of 52, for a 1.7 year travel time.
not that any of this is actually canon, but it's closer than the old Colonial Marines manual
>>213817874>Between something it knows has protected him already and also won't die easily and fresh meatESLfags should be range banned
>>213817831>ep 8 ends with Wendy keeping the alien like a dog>she even teaches it to roll, fetch and give paw
>>213817015>they will sacrifice anything and anyone assuming that THIS time they can contain the "cargo" or the "package" or the "specimen"It's a megacorporation sacrificing a few ships and some dozen of people for what could be the most lethal living organism in the universe.
How is that not worth it?
>>213817810>xeno invasionNot happening. No one knows anything outside Boy Fag's circle and the Yutani cunt.
>>213817941Yeah, is there any reason why they used Stinkfist?
>>213817854I agree with you in part. But I think a coverup is much more difficult since Maginot crashed in a large metropolis. Correct if I'm wrong but New Siam and the Prodigy Island are in two separate regions. Yeah, they can nuke the island but what about the millions affected by the invasion in Southeast Asia? Or maybe this is already proof that the 'invasion' will be defeated inside or in the close vicinity of the towers.
>>213817956The song is about fisting animals
>>213817857Something about the goo always produces Giger looking shit. I think that's been established now. They mate or gestate in different hosts and they then produce differing results.
But they all follow a 'genus' or something; a commonality. I am happy with wherever the stories take themselves. I don't feel qualified to nitpick a show in progress and say what does and doesn't make sense.
>>213817964>what about the millions affected by the invasion in Southeast Asia? There is no invasion. This is not based on the comic or the book. It's one (or two) xenomoprh. It will either be caught or neutralized and the rest of the show will be in the research facility on the island.
>>213817238>>213817467Bitch shut up. ;) Nice samefagging. Nobody on /tv/ ever heard of these.
Zoomer you want your IP out in the open? If I hear the one word "spam" one more time I'm sending you to the KPop Demon Hunters dungeons and let me tell you they do not take kindly to brown teenagers.

Part time job, had a car, had mom and dad's gas card, pretty good grades, friends, just discovering weed and mushrooms and drinking. Aenima was such an amazing album unlike anything I'd heard since The Wall in my limited exposure to cool music. It was playing at all of the parties, along with Jane's Addiction and Helmet and Wu Tang Clan and Beastie Boys. Those were good times. Tool in concert was one of the coolest events I've seen to this day.
>>213818069Isn't the director open about not giving a fuck about the lore? Why didn't they just sell it as a separate thing, just say in this universe the OG movie never happened and this is a reimagining of what would happen if Ripley didn't blow it out the airlock.
>>213818054next episode they've got the eggs and xeno back to Neverland Island. probably had synths grab the eggs, and used Morrow's cum gun to restrain the xeno long enough to get it caged up for a while. no idea about the other species, but I'm sure it will be perfectly safe to keep them all in glass tubes in the same laboratory.

From the movies we've seen a few attempts, and lets add a few more "off screen". So 10 ships and 100 people are basically nothing for a mega corpo.
They probably spend a couple of billions on researching other niche technology that may or may not fruitful regularly.
idk what the song will be but i'm very sure they'll pick something that will specifically annoy me
>>213818140he only said the idea that the Alien was invented by David five minutes ago was not "useful" to him, and that he prefers the Alien to have evolved on its own.
considering the scene where David mistakes Shelley for Byron, and the opening scene where when told to play the piano, he doesn't improvise a piece, he plays Wagner, "Alien: Covenant" wasn't saying David invented the Alien either. No matter what goofy shit Ridley Scott says in interviews, that was part of the whole point of Prometheus and Covenant as far as synthetics and AI are concerned: they can't actually make anything new.
tl;dr if it happened in the movies, it's canon. probably not the AvP movies though, and Resurrection is far enough in the future that it doesn't matter.
>>213818181WELCOME...

What a pathetic company that needs to be bullied into extinction by a much bigger company or species of aliens.
>>213818040The black guy cyborg let the alien kill the crew, then hid from it, then stunned it and bagged it up to deliver. When they freed it it went after all the people and not the black guy cyborg. Isn't that what's being discussed, that it waits too long and doesn't attack main characters? I'm arguing that it doesn't view that cyborg as THE main threat in a room full of armed soldiers. I thought he'd try and stun it again because he'd only set his gun down, but instead he freezes like he's suddenly a frightened human and the beast gets away to murder more good people.
I don't like when the androids suddenly get scared. The black one in the last movie was all stuttering little brother until he got that chip upgrade and went into full badass mode. So I don't really buy it when this new guy loses his cool for even a second. He either dominates the alien with his witty calculations or it destroys him, but he doesn't need to sweat and think about it too long while looking away.

>>213818171that's another good one. All the early Tool albums had cool "hidden" shit at the end. I'd never heard such weird stuff in my life. One time we got really high at this kid's house and were going to play someone the carrot holocaust thing at the end of Undertow but we got confused and put on the Korn CD and the hidden track was this guy yelling at his wife about the engine of a Dodge Dart.
How many CDs of 93-94 had weird hidden tracks?
Tool always put the most work into their albums. One came with stereophotographs and lenses.

The shorter breathing tubes on the back are also a welcome change, because they always looked silly flapping around in scenes shot with costumes, not cgi. Same with the vanta black glossy look, there's something immediately unsettling about it. I know people prefer the more transparent head dome showing off the skull, but imho it should only be visible when you shine a light directly at it. Either way, the best xeno design is still the one from Alien3.

>>213818383>โRidley and I have talked about this โ and many, many elements of the show,โ Hawley says. โFor me, and for a lot of people, this โperfect life formโ โ as it was described in the first film โ is the product of millions of years of evolution that created this creature that may have existed for a million years out there in space. The idea that, on some level, it was a bioweapon created half an hour ago, thatโs just inherently less useful to me. And in terms of the mythology, whatโs scary about this monster, is that when you look at those first two movies, you have this retro-futuristic technology. You have giant computer monitors, these weird keyboards โฆ You have to make a choice. Am I doing that? Because in the prequels, Ridley made the technology thousands of years more advanced than the technology of Alien, which is supposed to take place in those moviesโ future. Thereโs something about that that doesnโt really compute for me. I prefer the retro-futurism of the first two films. And so thatโs the choice Iโve made โ thereโs no holograms. The convenience of that beautiful Apple store technology is not available to me.โ
>>213818281>the real companies/organizations/governments/multiple galaxy civilizationsNot a thing in the alien universe. >the Aliens themselves aren't powerful enough to deal with real threats.Threats are relative. As is relative the threat of xenomorphs. If theyve got a nest and queen you basically need a tactical nuke to deal with them. If it's a lone drone its only a threat to small groups without big arms which is how the stories tend to go.

>โThe thing with Alien is that itโs not just a great monster movie. Itโs the story of humanity trapped between its primordial parasitic past and its AI future, and theyโre both trying to kill us. So, thereโs nowhere to go. Itโs really a story of does humanity deserve to survive? Does humanityโs arrogance in thinking that weโre no longer food and its arrogance in creating these AI beings who we think will do what we tell them โ but ultimately might lose their mind โ is there a way out?โ
>โThereโs a moment in the second film [1986โs Aliens] where Sigourney Weaver says, โI donโt know which species is worse โ you donโt see them screwing each other over for a percentage.โ I think thereโs something really intriguing about exploring humanity in all its goods and evils and then trying to recreate for an audience those feelings you had in watching those first two films โ which isnโt easy in a franchise that has had four subsequent films and another film coming out soon [Alien: Romulus], but I think I have some tricks up my sleeve.โ
>>213818694*Eats your bonus situation*

>>213818584It's incorrect no matter what. It would be "uploaded with" or just loaded with or something. I just know it's wrong. And that's where we are now with shit like that. No one questioned it or said, "hey, isn't that at least a little awkward if not downright grammatically incorrect?"
It's like official society on a massive scale has reached "whatever, grammar nazi" levels of not giving a fuck.
And I hate to be that guy, but that's exactly the sign of decline when shit's really going to go downhill. You start leaving typos and shit in online articles even after the comment section all groans and throws a fit. Then the typo stays in the headline. Now the fucking mistake is in the opening crawl of a multihundredmillion dollar TV show.

>>213818584I wonder if this will actually get adressed in this series. The whole "hybrid" thing poses interesting questions about the nature of human consciousness. They make Wendy out to be the first to transition from a human into a synthetic body, but completely rule out adults. Why? Because somehow their psyche affected by their experience of growing into an organic body would make an adult incompatible with a synth one? How do they exactly know this without trying first? Sounds fishy to me. And what's the corporate end-goal with putting a childs memory engram into an adult synth body anyway? More easily to manipulate and control than an adult? Do they keep copies? What happens when their bodies get destroyed? Does their consciousness just fade away, or does Prodigy poses the ability to make back-up's? There's some horrific scenarios in this equation which they could explore alongside the xeno arc.

>>213816264....what we NEED is the reverse. Aliens trapped in a ship with a monstrous human. Probably one they abducted and failed to tranquilize properly due to alien budget cuts and bureaucracy. I'm surprised the genre hasn't been subverted like that yet.
>>213818577They forgot cybrids. Artifical Intelligence in organic (human) body.

>>213818577synths > hybrids > cyborgs > shit > humans > indians
>>213817029Biomega(prequel to Blame) is indeed the answer to Prometheus and ironically does what Ridley I shit my pants Scott wanted to do with Covenant but actually good.
In the world of Blame humans have bioengineered AI & giant robots to automatically build apartment buildings for everyone.
Only humans with the Net Terminal Gene can access the Netsphere which commands the robots.
Sadly after some mishaps with some eccentric rich asshole hackers who kept hacking the goddamn system and causing problems for everyone
...the creators implemented The Safeguard, synthetic guards to protect the netsphere and the physical world.
Unfortunately some silicon life bastards, most likely the same hackers which went from human to silicon life... have bioengineered a Corona-tier plague to spread to humans which made The Safeguard detect all humans including those with the net terminal gene as viruses and unwelcome to the structure so they kill almost all humans. Very few remain in the megastructure.
The Safeguards do not detect the silicon life as a virus [for reasons]
Without the humans to control the builders the giant builder robots just keep on building ad infinitum and even creating these giant tendrils that reach satellites like the moon and other planets including Jupiter in order to keep building out into space. There is no land in Blame! The main character reads a very old journal and asks "What is "land?" "
And so the robots keep buildin Dyson spheres on top of dyson spheres far escaping the planet.
The silicon life have the ability to coccoon humans and mutate them turning them into mutants that are still human but gain silicon life characteristics.
The silicon life and safeguards are based on levels with the highest one already looking like demonic angels.
This is honestly how aliens most likely came to be.
>>213820342It punks on Ridley "robots created the aliens" badly, I still think the "human" element should be removed and just have an alien species create alien robots that created the xenomorphs
It also explains how Weyland Yutani besides being cheap retards can also have such weak-looking technology other than it was made in the 70s and 80s. since even in the 70s and 80s we had much sleeker cooler looking spaceships in movies that weren't filled with white-yellowish CRT monitors and casette tapes.
Basically Weyland is living in a lost technology setting on a pathetic planet that could be easily invaded even by our own real-life military nowadays.
>>213820402Can somebody suggest to me alien-created robots? It's usually humans that create robots, not aliens. You never see a klingon create robots.
>>213820002>>213820022I'm probably overthinking the show because he just looks evil and is evil but I want to believe there's something to the weird way he cares about Wendy, how every interaction with her is some ambiguous lesson he's trying to get across to her
As I write this it sadly occurs to me that the lesson's just gonna be "You're not human anymore, you should join me and kill all the useless humans" isn't it
And then she goes "no u" and This is Sparta kicks him into the sun
Also him being the super competent and aware one was really undermined by how unconcerned he was about the fucking Eyeball-Eating-Alien under the flimsy metal bucket, that was some classic Prometheus tier retardation, as if Prometheus set the gold standard for how stupid fictional characters surrounded by murderous aliens could be

Just realized that I instantly distrust Kirsh because he's permanently in the mode that Billy Bob Thornton was in this scene and the longer I look at this pic it just looks like Billy Bob Thornton doing a Timothy Olyphant impression

>>213816229>>213820036NTA and I don't know what deleted scenes you're talking about, but in Alien Resurrection, they explain that Weyland Yutani gets bought out by Walmart.
In this show, the whole world is run by 3 or 4 companies, and I don't think Walmart is one of them.
>>213816705>Yeah. It's even weirder when you consider 1 through 3 take place in a couple of months from Ripley's PoV (adding the time she worked in the space station docks in Aliens) while 57 years passed in the universe. It's handled with less grace than Back To The Future.
When you keep this in mind, the way Ripley talks at the end of Alien 3 doesn't make sense. She says something like "you've hounded me my whole life, and now all I can think about is you." which doesn't make sense coming from anyone who's been dealing with a problem for 3 months or so.
>>213817810>So is this timeline spoilery by itself?I'm old enough to remember reading on this very board that Prometheus despite taking place at an earlier year, also takes place in a different universe, so Prometheus and all it's sequels are really a reboot.
>>213817810>So is this timeline spoilery by itself? It basically tells you the xeno invasion was defeated and forgotten by the time of Romulus.>>213817854This reminds me of The Penguin threads where they were constantly asking why Batman wasn't intervening when Oz was doing all his gangster shit.
In the very first episode, before the rescue team get in the ship, when they are walking across that room with mannequins they showed a shot of something moving in the shadows. Was that just the xeno weve already seen?
>>213818140>Isn't the director open about not giving a fuck about the lore? Why didn't they just sell it as a separate thing, just say in this universe the OG movie never happened and this is a reimagining of what would happen if Ripley didn't blow it out the airlock.>>213818166>>Isn't the director open about not giving a fuck about the lore?>
>Yup. He is more a vibes guy kek. If it breaks canon big time I'll consider it a parallel universe and be at ease.Prometheus already did this.
>>213819400Yes, There were also interesting examples in the books and dc comics, like synths with bodies designed to look like xenos to infiltrate hives.
