It was fun for what it was. Plot was generic and predictable and most characters were undeveloped but when you spend half of a 100 minute movie on songs, that’s bound to happen. I cannot stand kpop but the songs here were pretty catchy. Had quite a few good jokes and visual gags.

All in all a good summer popcorn movie that didn’t feel like a sermon. In this day and age, that puts it in the upper tier of major releases.

I've been in front of the tv with my daughter countless times when it's on. It starts with them fighting demons on an airplane and jumping out and landing on stage and doing a number with some (sorry, but laughable) rap. By then I'm completely zoned out because I'm a heterosexual grown up man and my brain just refuses to take in any more of it.
