it had a very rough start which is probably what ended up getting it cancelled, they would have lost most of their stargate viewer base during the season 1 shitshow. they did start to fix it and it had the makings of a good show but they really shit the bed badly in season 1. it was still made in the era when attractive women were cast for every female role though so there's plenty of babes in it. it's more of a generic "scifi on a ship" show rather than a stargate show so it is hard to really recommend it. stargate fans don't like it because it's not stargate and scifi fans don't like it because it's not very good.
