People don't care much about "understanding" movies, they just want something simple. It's why Marvel movies ranks among the highest of all movies.

The media literate don't actually talk about films. The most "literate" person I knew only ever rattled off the same tired observations of American Beauty, mixed between stories about meeting Dieter Meier in a Belgian supermarket and the six months of his forty-four year career he spent at MGM in 1992 (before he was fired). Literacy just teaches you to read films through the pinhole lens of your own asshole.

Rest assured if zootopia was real it would actually be hell on earth ruled over by the strongest animals. Anything smaller than a human is never getting equal rights if that was a real scenario.
