Like she could've just not done any of the unordinary things that she spent the entire show doing, but the trio of guys would have still been obsessed with her for just being normal and cute. So it made me think all her actions were just kind of "extra". I didn't really feel anything about her at all.
I guess I compare this historical drama to My Dearest, which even though the historical circumstances were different, the FL went through a transformation through the whole story which was more interesting to watch.

in my view, the ending of Nevertheless is empowering for Nabi and weakening for Jae Eon. Jae Eon has pride in his games (lets not make this official, we can enjoy ourselves without labels right? etc)

And Nabi, while unhappy with this, goes along with it because she likes Jae Eon. Eventually she gets fed up with it and cuts him out, which drives Jae Eon into a stalkerish jealousy.

at the ending, he comes crawling back after telling Nabi he was done. I see that as a win for Nabi. Nabi takes him back but we are left on a cliff hanger showing that Potato Boy (a chef!) isn't out of the running.

So who knows if Nabi really forgave Jae Eon? maybe she did, or maybe she could be setting Jae Eon up for a bigger emotional pitfall later as revenge, maybe Nabi hasn't decided yet.

Nabi holds all the cards in the end and "wins" in Nevertheless, IMO
