No one wants to say this, but I’ll be that guy. This new season is fire. Episode one was mid but episode 2 was classic koth and it gets better with every episode. This season is a slow burn.

I've watched every single episode.
Started the new season last weekend. It's good. It's king of the hill. Nothing more I can ask for. Just comfy texas show.
I still prefer the first 7 seasons, but that isn't a new opinion

The whole thing felt like it should've been released in 2018

It’s really good. Mike Judge rarely misses.
The bit about Saudi Arabia being “the new America” was gold. Great commentary about American stagnation and the collective expectations being lowered so much.
Connie & other college students being genuinely retarded & helpless is pretty accurate also.

None of the plotlines were really good/felt classic except for Bill pretending to be married to Peggy at the barbershop.

The laotians pretending to still be married and the hog stocks at the end were just ok. Nothing else was memorable, no other well written episodes

No dude. It felt like what like what KOTH was like at the end of its run. Stale and out of touch. And just like those seasons there’s still some good joke in there, but it’s a far cry from the golden years of the show. It’s not as bad as some want to make it out to be, but it’s not good either.
