Season 1 is a miracle that only comes around once every decade or so. It is the acme of the episodic narrative media and defines how to do things right on every level.
Every other season can be forgotten because they're all equally bad in their own way. No, Season 3 isn't "better" because it isn't as confusing as Season 2, they're just all garbage and nobody cares.
