Not exactly. It suits some style. Blame! is pure kino and uses low FPS and the 1st spiderman animated flick was really good because of the low FPS and art style.
This does look stupid though. I think the issue is that it is using 3d CGI models so it kind of looks like it is trying to imitate stop motion animation and I honestly dont think that was what they were going for.
