It had some odd choices.
Johnny Storm is supposedly crazy about the ladies. He brings it up himself. But we never see him interact with any woman besides the silver surfer. He doesn't seem like a ladies man, he seems like an awkward introvert who finally found a girl that interests him.
Why didn't Reed use his stretching powers more? They should be like second nature to him. That point when he switches the baby seat thingy in the middle of the teleporter, it seemed so odd to watch him do it normally. Why the fuck didn't he just stretch, it'd be much quicker.
They spent way too much time at the end with Sue's "death". Absolutely no tension or engagement, we all fucking knew how it was gonna end. And why did Reed decide to place the baby on top of his dead mom? That's a pretty odd thing to do.
Johnny wanting to translate the alien language was fine, but why not include Reed? "Oh, he's busy..." The entire fucking Earth is gonna be destroyed, you have no clues how to avoid it, but you didn't even want to mention it to the smartest person on the planet? Why not have him bring it up to Reed and have Reed dismiss it as less important, since he didn't really consider how emotions could play a part in saving Earth? That would show that Reed is lacking in some areas while making Johnny seem less like an obsessed stalker.

It did have some nice visuals though.

I didn't like how the great idea of Reed to save Earth is "We take Bikini Bottom, and push it somehwere else!". Also everyone was cast wrong apart from the Thing because he just needs a NY accent and that's it.
The best parts were Johnny and Ben banter.

I think moving Earth was a fine idea. It cemented that they had no idea how to defeat Galactus and the brave heroes' plan was to run and hide.
Of course there was never any doubt that they wouldn't go through with it. From a narrative perspective it would be an incredibly unsatisfying ending.

if there is a singular reason for why no one discusses MCU anymore i would venture to guess the unlikably Brie as Captain Marvel and the youtube/social media firestorm it set off. Entire personas and brands are built now deconstructing, everything. Im not sure society has truly returned to clamour for traditional media. The trailers didn't sell me anything interesting at all. It was mostly 'just look at this retrofuturistic 60s aesthetic, and don't look at anything else'. They didn't show Johnny, Sue, or Thing doing anything cool l, they even kinda hid Mr. fantastic power.
