I feel like the hype for this season of South Park is 90% from people not actually watching the show but hearing about the controversy, and 10% from people who actually watch the show regularly. Like if I asked a regular person “have you watched any of the new South Park episodes?” they’d say no, but if I asked them “did you hear the South Park’s been making fun of ___”, they’d say yeah.

The show is super cucked, Initially during Trump's run for his first term Trey and Matt were like "we're not making fun of Trump because he's so crazy it's almost immune to satire". Then they were like "fuck it, we'll make fun of Trump but not directly, we'll have Mr. Garrison be a stand in for Trump". Then we had the Biden years, and although there wasn't a lot of South Park content during that time there were ZERO jokes about Biden during the time.
