desu the whole show was most interesting when showing the novelty of an alien trying not to act weird among humans, but you can't really do that for longer than 1 season. the new plotlines kinda suck for the most part but what can u do. i do think its comfy still but it got pretty boring because female brain conflicts are just not very high stakes in general

yes, season 2 is like wtf, it has 2.5 times as many episodes as season 1, yet it seems to have the same budget as season 1. So, it's full of soap opera shit.
I guess sci-fi network just uses the netflix strategy lauucnhing many shows and then just milks the succesful ones

it could have been great, especially when an alien goes through human emotional evolution in a speedrun and the viewer can relate to them in a fresh way. he also has an unintentional comedic face and him playing a doctor in an idyllic winters town could have worked to fuller capacity than reducing it to townsdrama
