Relatively recent by all accounts going by what they say at 15min in this. New Blood ended that way because Hall said he was done and didn't want to come back. Then Marcos Siega was directing a music video for Halls band and he said he DID want to come back. So they rushed to make Resurrection and presumably add Halls voiceover Original Sin. The original plan after New Blood ending seems to have been spinoff shows like the Trinity one and another about Harrison (which is probably mostly what his Resurrection story is now).

If someone had a reason to hide like Dexter and still the desire to kill they could easily get a similar kill count, just not all in one area like him.

I liked it. The setting alone was worth it. I haven't seen Resurrection but I don't think it beats that.

Just watched Zodiac for the first time two weeks ago, and it really illustrated how back then you could just commit random murders and with some luck and a bit of police negligence you could leave everyone stumped
