how come you need to be older than 30 to appreciate this show?

Because you need to have let your inner Hank mature.

You need to have actually lived through the time period the show takes place in to really appreciate it

I got into this show because my gf is basically an IRL Luanne to a T.

>Big hair fit FAS faced blonde
>Very intelligent technically and mathematically but has zero common sense and borderline retard spatial awareness
>Dropped out of beauty school, mechanics school, and retail business classes
>Grew up in a trailer with an alcoholic stripper mom and oil worker dad
>Exclusively wears cheap Spandex or outdated formal wear
>Carries all her weight in her thighs and chest but is flat everywhere else
>Violent, aggressive, horny when drunk but drinks often

What is this archetype called? I've come across it a whole bunch of times in rural California and Arizona. It's definitely a thing but I've never heard it named. These types always seem to ultimately end up very successful anyway.

Hank should have beat peggy to death in the first episode and gave bobby up for adoption. Now we can start the real show where hank finds a new family that loves and appreciates him.

i started liking this show in my teens. at first i thought it was just some boring as fuck show about some dumbass texans, but eventually i just kept watching it (cause it was on), and found out that the show is actually very funny

this, in the 90s-2000s it was just the "boring cartoon on before the simpsons" but then you grow up, live in the real world and work for a while, go back to watching it and there are banger jokes one after another and some good emotional scenes too like John Redcorn stopping Joseph from shooting a panda

It's just "trailer trash" dude. You can be trailer trash and not be a total fucking loss. In fact I imagine you'll be seeing a lot more of it once Trump's depression kicks into full gear. Or maybe it'll change to "tiny home trash."
