Annual rewatches.
Do anons really do that? Every now and then some anon comments about their rewatches and I wonder what's out there besides the obvious. Anything weird or unexpected? I expect lots of Breaking Bad, The Wire or True Detective, LOTR too. I'll start: for me it's Blackadder. I have the four seasons always hiding in some SSD or flashdrive, and I'm always reaching for it. It's not exactly an annual rewatch since it happens a few times during the year, but that's it.

I'll watch the same few shows as background noise over and over, and tend to watch most of my favourite movies once a year, although not by deliberate action.

House of 1,000 Corpses is a Halloweeny tradition. Always Sunny gets played multiple times a year, but I definitely gloss over the newer seasons.

Trailer Park Boys Seasons 1-7 every few years. The cyberpunk movies when I'm feeling retro comfy: Blade Runner, Johnny Mnemonic, The Matrix (not the sequels), Cyber City Oedo, Ghost In The Shell, Akira etc. And comfy horror movies like The Thing (plus and other John Carpenter movies) and the classic original slashers Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street & Halloween. Also I'll re-watch the typical Cruise kino and all the classic Nic Cage films.

Nah, that's too zoomerbrained for me. Biennial at minimum. It's nice when you actually forget some details. Or you're in a different place in your life and some scenes hit differently.

How is Jonny numonic? Been in my que forever and just never pulled the trigger.
Qrd? I like the matrix, 1st one anyways. And the usual stuff, we have similar tastes other than classic horror I'm not really into f13th and those old ones.

was actually trying to figure out what time of year should lotr be rewatched, for example harry pootter is basically a holiday rewatch, but in lotr there's no weather or seasonal themes to gauge the time of year
