1982 also had First Blood and Sophie's Choice.
1984 laso had Bachelor Party, Top Secret!, Footloose, Muppets Take Manhattan and Nausicaa.

1984 is better overall, even though The Thing is in my top 10.

Well now thats settled. Is 84 the best of the decade or does another year stand a chance? Yeah 87 probably has its precious top 10 or 20 but how's that top 50 lookin? 100?
