What would Orson think of the way things have turned out to be?

I find it bittersweet that we can no longer know Orson's well articulated and sincere opinions on the popular culture. No one has stepped into his shoes, and he is so badly needed as of late.

That kind of computer analogy was rather forward-thinking, as most computers of the time were nowhere near as capable of that many leaps of fuzzy logic.

I think on the Dick Cavett show he talks about how he used to have good memories about Hollywood but then more ugly things came to light about how lesser actors were treated and he had to realize how ugly the whole place was. I'm not sure we'd be doing him a favor by resurrecting him. He wouldn't have any answers for us. But a good start would be firing anyone in congress with dual citizenship with Israel

He would be very prolific. He was always filming, designing costumes, writing scripts. His main setback was money. Around the time he died he had started learned how to use vhs editing equipment. With the tools currently available could work very fast. The Immortal Story is an example of the kind of short form, made for tv adaptations that he was interested in creating in his late life. Coming full circle from his early work in radio. I think he would use things like Adobe Premiere to pump out lots of short form low budget literary adaptations.
