I tried. Couldn't finish it about 1/3-1/2 the way through.
I dropped it when the paramilitary group in a shithole country discovered Weyland-Yutani ship crash and trying to save/investigate the ship. I just couldn't be bothered with any of the characters they introduced up to that point.

and they are pretty generic welding goggles you can get at a hardware store. a friend bought them in bulk and would sell them at sci fi cons with this custom made inserts and attachments.
