Not very, no western military would ever have tolerated a guy as unstable as Goth. He certainly got up to some nefarious shit and definitely deserved his war crime charges but waking up and just blasting people with a rifle is a sign of such mental instability that someone above him in the chain of command would have crucified him.

Currently I live in Florida, and I just want to say this is a very brave, powerful film, which moved me immensely. The shocking realism of this film - and boy is it ever realistic! - made me realize just how horrible these Nazis were. We have to ensure something like this NEVER happens again (unironically) by supporting Israel. Thank you.

It's pretty accurate to the historical record. It exaggerates the magnitude of Schindler's moral awakening -- he's portrayed as more cynical and amoral at the beginning of the film so that his self-sacrificing actions later on have a more dramatic contrast.

Amon Goth's gradual breakdown is, in my opinion, not conveyed all that effectively by the film.

If you want to watch an extremely effective and minutely historically informed Holocaust movie, watch Son of Saul.

You know I grew up in Iowa and never got any Israel propaganda. I was also catholic and therefore likely protected from the (((protestant))) edjakayshin, but I was always told the situation in Israel was “complicated.” Then I looked it up and found out it’s a bunch of ugly people who hate Europeans who rely on the people they hate to prop up the country they stole.
