I used to get compared to Napoleon Dynamite when I was a kid. I still haven't seen the movie because I assumed they were insulting me and I don't want to find out that my assumption was correct

it's a funny movie if only because it demonstrates the principle of teen comedies always being written by 40 year olds who are just depicting their own high school experience and that this movie is obviously based on being a teen in the 80s not 2004 when it came out

You ever been to Idaho? This movie perfectly depicts what living in Idaho was like in the early 2000s. If you have ever been there, you get it. It’s actually kind of uncanny how accurate it depicts that state.
