Mean-spirited show. They got lucky with the cast in seasons 1 and 2, and even then it was mainly thanks to Letty and Tayleigh that it worked (TJ sucks ass btw). 3 sucked after FH. 4 was even more low effort and it was probably for the best it ended early. Worst part about Fishtank has always been Jet and production's involvement. Best part is watching them vibe for most of the day. A crazy challenge sometimes makes things funny and stirs up drama, but Sam and Jet seem to legitimately enjoy torturing most of these people while not realizing they themselves are much worthier candidates, which is why gorilla nest was so satisfying.

Ben is funny, but he doesn't really seem like an ideas guy. More like a guy who knows how to riff in the chaos. Jet is an ideas guy, but most of his ideas are a miss, and deep down you can see what a weird nerd he really is. Sam 15 years ago would've been a better candidate for showrunner, but he runs out of steam really quickly now and everything he does seems to be motivated by money, which the most braindead FTL fans don't seem to notice or are too mentally ill and codependent to care. No Bex also lost them the feminine touch in season 3, which, like it or not, was part of the show's decline. Season 2 is actually the peak of Fishtank and most of it was due to the soul that the house/'70s theme brought, which Bex seemed to be a part of.

Sam is played out, has no good ideas anymore, and hasn't been funny in a decade. Season 3 and 4 shat themselves because of the legal problems with the city or whatever. It's enough of a fuck up to tank any series. But beyond that there are other major issues. I will put these in an order that progressively rapes (You) harder.

He's the reason the show got popular and often times he's the most entertaining part about the show (the bulk of the entertainment factor goes to the fish obviously, i give no credit to the wiggers, or even jet for "creating" fishtank. Everyone has had the idea of a streamer house like this in their heads he just had daddy sammy's money to pull it off). He was at his best on season 3 even after famous house 1. But he was so checked out on season 4, a complete waste of space. He was even checked out on season 2 but playing a character hid that. He straight up doesn't care about the show and it shows.

This show has the worst fanbase imaginable and it's the type of show where that really matters. It directly effects the show. Jet sucks because he's an r9k fag. And they're hiring people like mints who are just 4chan losers with the drive to climb moderator ranks (discord, the chat on the site, this was all said on his hong kong 2 appearance). Production being made up of people like (You) is ultimately why the show sucks. It would only benefit them to try to separate themselves from 4chan troons as much as possible, but I'm not sure if that can happen without a big advertising campaign to try and reach ANYONE else.

I'll watch season 5.

Not that you would ever have a reason to trust the wiggers before S4, but how can you have any faith in the future of the show when the Jet spent MONTHS raving in site chat and twitter about how well prepared they were only to not fix any of their legal issues that have persisted since S1. Killed the show within 2 weeks, was aware this would happen in April of this year and in an attempt to salvage mid-season, stuck all the contestants in a basement out of code, giving the town an easy excuse to get them shut down for good. Mistake after mistake all at the hands of Jets incompetence. Anyone who puts a cent into this show deserves to be flogged

All they have to do is copy big brother and the challenge but they can't even get the cast to respect the premise. No authority, no plan, they cant even keep the show organized from one day to the next. I wonder if there's even a point. As an audience member the most entertaining part is the banter, literally the broll around the actual show.

Jet Neptune is a shit bag and a bad producer. The show has been racked by technical fuckups since the beginning. Sam should cut all ties with him. Season 1 was good but things got darker and too cruel after that. It was jarring to go from Airsoft Fatty falling down the stairs in season 1 to some of the borderline evil shit that happened in season 2.
Bringing in Charleston White a nigger who has done time for sex crimes to fuck with Tay after she trauma dumped about getting raped wasn’t funny. Not a bad concept for a show but the execution could have been way more professional and polished.
