Finally got around to watching hard boiled and well I sort of regret it. The whole time I couldn't stop thinking about john wick and how much better the gun fight choreography was there. Seriously it's like we evolved so much as a film medium there's no reason to watch something like this.

And it's not like there's anything of value outside of the long boring gun fights. If you're planning on watching this ancient movie just watch a john wick action scene compliation instead.

I'm sure a bunch of those HK stunt guys died making the 80s and 90s HK action classics like Hard Boiled and Police Story but the deaths were covered up. And OP is a baiting retard. The warehouse scene alone in Hard Boiled is better than any action scene in all four John Wick movies. I don't think Keanu or Chad Stahelski would dispute that.

I was a bit disappointed considering its THE hong kong action film, the last action scene just feels dragged out. For me its The killer, A better Tomorrow, A City on Fire & Full contact.
