This is in stark contrast to New Blood, which came and went without virtually any impact. It had decent reviews but seems like not many people actually liked it much. It had some good moments, but the ending pissed me the fuck off. You can't just "kill" Dexter like that, he deserves a better sendoff if he ever dies.

This season has me excited for the show again, I'm loving it. Hope they go more than 3 seasons. I want to see him return to Miami.

What I miss about early Dexter is how cynical its humor was.
