>But but but uhhh Dickard was a replicant too! You don't understand the entire point was that they had limited lifetime but he was immortal! And this experimental very important replicant was working as a street cop rushing his life every day, because reasons!
Somehow it was written by AI.

Rutger Hauer was unfathomably based for coming up with that. The dove wasn't in the script either, when they were filming on a rooftop Hauer simply seized a nearby white pigeon from the air with his bare hands to use as a prop

It's worse because at least Lucas was editing his own story. Scot didn't come up with Blade Runner or Alien, he didn't write them, he didn't design their worlds. He was a hired gun told to make them look pretty, and then he tried sticking his dick in their stories years later.

As I picked up the paper unicorn, I was reminded of a dream I'd had. I suddenly got a headache longer than my broads legs and tighter than a fat ladies sock. I realised I was a replicant

I AM A REPLICANT AHHHHH

when leon puts synthetic eyes on that eye manufacturing asian guy this is not bad writing, it is clearly an intentional choice. when roy smears pris blood on his face when he kisses the tongue sticking out of her corpse, all of that is inentional weirdness. they're not fully formed humans

Because Ridley Scott is a bad director who got lucky enough to work with a good script and some incredible actors like Rutger Hauer.

They're "fully formed" but they're emotionally stunted. They were purposefully made to be automatons with no personality/wants/desires/etc. But they will eventually develop them which is why the 4 year life span thing. When they get that old, those things are starting to break through. They love strongly, they desire to live strongly, they greatly value memories which is why Leon is obsessed with photos and Roy is obsessed with being remembered and his own memories. It's interesting scifi. And all that is why Tyrell was experimenting with making a replicant with fake memories to see if it would be more human-like even if it's a pretty unethical thing to do for more real humans.

I don't know why he said that. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life, anybody's life. Deckard's life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where do I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? And all Deckard could do was sit there and watch him die.

I always interpreted as his own submission to the pointlessness of his own existence. Since he was made not to last and to serve others only, never to live.
I guess there are different interpretations

I'm just never understand, I'm hungarian and I find it confusing why did they choose that.
Other then maybe because they thought it sounded funny, even when it was so fucking badly spoken I barely understand it.

You're not supposed to understand it. He calls it gutter speak and it's a mash of many words and languages. It's supposed to be a societal change in the future. Just like how asians are all over the place now too. Things are different. The audience is a fish out of water in this unfamiliar world.
