For a high school senior trip we all went to the mall and the niggers went insane but I don't think anyone actually cared about the movies we had the option of choosing. I don't remember what it was so I just bullshit with my friends the whole time and watched the monkeys dance. Recently I saw Elio for free because I was visiting my hometown and went with my sister/niece/nephew. My oldest niece works there so we go the tickets for free and $50 of concessions for $6. I get that most anons would say that their job and that would make sense but dont most theater workers do multiple functions at once? Like I have never heard of a a theater janitor as a position. Its more like a general position that takes bodies away from working concessions, box office, etc. And even if it wasn't, shouldn't it be expected that a person would try their hardest to not make a mess? Like in a perfect world we wouldnt need janitors and everyone would just have a general sense of decency in public when it comes to making a mess and assume that there isn't someone who's job it is to specifically clean after them? And then its just up to the general workers to clean after various accidents that are bound to happen? Hiring a janitor should be seen as an overall shame to a community as a whole. With the way concessions are priced, they might have technically paid less for the popcorn they actually ate from a large as opposed to buying a small and finishing it.
I'd also argue that popcorn is barely food once it's been drenched in that butter oil. It was destined to be trash the moment the pump went down. Wasting food is super gay, but there are some indulgences one shouldn't feel compelled to finish. Once I started actually paying attention to what I consumed I would still get soda with fast food or something occasionally, and end up only drinking half of it. A small is still too fucking big from some of these places and I'm not going to be compelled to down all of the syrup.

I never go out of my way to trash a movie theater just for the hell of it, but if I get tricked into seeing a shitty movie I will usually do a little something to punish the staff.
Usually just fling the rest of my drink over the rows in front of me. Other times I'll take out my pocket knife, melt some sour patch in my mouth, pry the seat control buttons off and cram a bunch of melted candy in them to fuck them up. If it's a really bad movie I might slash a few of the cushions. Nothing major just enough to get my money's worth that they stole for me

Nothing ever fucking happened. I think people claim the scariest scene is them literally just running with a shaky camera 'being chased' by nothing you can see. At the end they enter a house and again you see nothing.

I try to be receptive to all kinds of movies but I had to mentally agree with my parents on this one being shit (of course I have my pride so I didn't tell them that, I said some spiel about how it's a psychological movie about seeing them slowly deteriorate in the wilderness but The Ritual 2017 is already that and x999 times better).
I'm surprised the found footage horror genre didn't die if this was the pioneer. I still feel embarrassed by it.
It's tied up there with watching together Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Imagine watching that movie and waiting for comedy that never happens. Actual fucking torture. We booked a room at a drive-in movie theater that was also a motel.
The lock on the room was a keypad and they didn't send us the combination, had to ask another guest for the phone number for the operator because there was no onsite staff. The theme for the movie was supposed to be "Space Bots" but when they finally started the movie at 9:15pm (some mexican kid showed up and made popcorn and started the projector at 8:30pm) they played Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

It used to be worse because there were way more seats to clean up and smaller aisles. What's shown in that clip is an after hours thorough cleaning done by a separate dedicated cleaning crew than the daytime minimum wagies that just do a quick sweep and trash pick up between showtimes. That's a full days worth of trash, and I am confident half of it was swept behind he seats by lazy staff that didn't want to make two passes down the aisle to empty their inadequate dust bin. Went to see Transformers in theaters as a favor for my godson. I knew it was gonna be Baytrash that bastardized the look of the characters but I promised I'd take him. The whole time I was in agony from the combination of the piece of fucking shit movie and constant commentary from kids and nigs. Just miserable shit. The best part of the experience was this one dude that sat to the front right of me....the look on his face when he saw the designs for Starscream and Megatron was exactly how I felt.
