Is there a show that you liked upon your initial watch but then you revisited it later and didn't care for it/hated it?

No all of my opinions are correct the first time.

I’d love to see how they handled fentanyl addicts and homeless in all of the parks since at the end of the series Pawnee was becoming a Silicon Valley

I still feel warmly about it, but it's definitely the most saccharine comedy show I've ever enjoyed. It's probably just because I was in high school and I watched it over the summer the first time I saw it. It does still have a lot of well written jokes and clever sitcom moments so it's not just nostalgia speaking.

The show ended at the perfect moment when politics was still twee and an insignificant part of everyone's life.

The public input scenes are funny because they're accurate.

HBO miniseries The Pacific. Even though the Rami actor wasn’t bad in it, it was just misery all the way through. Band of Brothers had some moments of hope, a sense of purpose, some humor. The Pacific had none of that just
>japs evil
>we are marines
>let’s kill the evil japs
Felt too much like a documentary if anything.

Agreed, terrible show. Not sure why it gets the love it does.

>A bunch of homeless people set up camp in a public park
>Leslie tries to play the caring socialist who wants to provide them with everything they need but is equally repulsed by them and wants to avoid being near them
>Leslie makes a public service announcement about open shelters which the homeless ignore because they would rather shoot up on the street than be sober in a shelter
>Ron Swanson gets a megaphone and yells at them to get a job
>Ron Swanson suggests getting cops to tear down the tents and force them to vacate the park
>Conflict between Leslie's nanny nature and Ron's conservative tough love treatment sparks debate
>Ben Wyatt sides with Ron but tries to nudge Leslie into considering that you can't just give endless support to someone otherwise they don't change
>B plot with Andy and April where they need some rough love because they're immature
>Leslie sees their point and asks the police to forcefully move the homeless out of the public park and take away their drugs
>Some homeless go to the shelter, others continue to bum around elsewhere
>Outro scene with Leslie at the park with Ben and Ron grilling up some hamburgers with families playing on the background now that the park is safe

>disappeared from public life entirely to avoid getting cancelled for mocking metoo weaseling her way back in with a podcast
>cancelled in metoo for...fucking a groupie? funny af

Politics does not have to be a significant part of your life.

It’s not but you seem to be big into politics fandom judging by the schizophrenia where you thought that post was about tv shows making fun of Trump

this is actually probably how an episode centering on this would go, only i think leslie would go to more extreme lengths to entice the homeless into going to the shelter to the point of possibly committing a crime accidentally

i was thinking more
>leslie tries to throw a big show to get the attention of all the sleepy homeless complete with fireworks and a banner but somebody fucks up the fireworks and they burn down half the homeless tents
>leslie feels bad so she buys everyone huge top of the line tents and now they have no reason to go to the shelter

That was intentional though? I've grown to enjoy the pacific more these days, it leaned more into the dark and uncomfortable parts of the war while BoB was just based on a bunch of boomers reminiscing about shit and mischaracterizing people they hated. But that's mostly Ambrose's fault.
