youβre brown, so you wonβt understand the concept of a life judged by the worst mistake youβve ever made, as your existence is a mistake.

Damn nigga, was just about to post this.
Truly the gayest title I've ever seen. Movie was good though, shame Kubrick's head was up his ass for so much of his career.
Lot of a great screenplays wasted on his dumb ass.
I get that it's named after an actual book within the universe, but this fucking movie has almost nothing to do with Fantastic Beasts, let alone Where to Find Them.
Don't even get me started on those fucking sequels. The Crimes of Grindelwald? This dude doesn't do fucking anything. The Secrets of Dumbledore? What? That he's in the vanishing closet or what? Fuck off.

No, it's not. It's a shitty rom-com about a pajeet in a parallel universe. The song is a macguffin, among hundreds, and the movie has nothing to actually do with it or even The Beatles really. You could've called it 99 Problems and had """Jack""" talk to Jay-Z at the end and it would've been the fucking same, if not more appropriately titled.

The invention of smartphones which resulted in every idiot being given "a right" to unleash their raw stupidity on the Internet with no repercussions was a mistake.
>>213950496 >Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem credited at the top of the poster >Julia Roberts isn't credited in the bottom cast list but Bardem is and gets the "and" credit

I mean it kinda didn't. Babylon and Amsterdam are the biggest flop of all time. Barbie was a fluke. In fact this can be said about Jenna Ortega, Sydney Sweeney, and Ari Aster too. Whether or not you lose money, for some reason, has no effect on whether or not you keep starring and creating films.
>>213951733 > I mean it kinda didn't. > Barbie was a fluke
You canβt be serious. Barbenheimer was one of the biggest cinema events in the last decade on par with the hype of Harry Potter / twilight releases. Barbie was the highest grossing film in Warner Brosβ history ffs. It was the summer of Margot Robbie, she was center stage for 4-6 months which is an insane amount of in todayβs low attention span climate.

The reason Margot Robbie was/is famous is cause she's hot. That's it. That's the grand sum of her public persona. And even at that rate Barbie was successful because: >It's a pre-existing IP >It had an obviously astroturfed hype campaign with Oppenheimer >Ryan Gosling completely stole the show both in the film and doing his singing performances
Meanwhile Robbie was a long line of shitty flops. I'd give it another 3-4 years when she keeps starring in trash and her looks fade for her to be irrelevant.

one day we will look back and laugh at the time when studios would shoot themselves in the foot with one gun and in the balls with another at the same time

i don't remember tom hardy or benedy cumhersnatch in this, i only remember it being terrible and them killing the cute russki girl (which was obvious from the start, as she was loveable and innocent unlike every other character)

For most actors, flops will absolutely kill their careers. A few select ones can rise above the flop/hit dichotomy and remain relevant forever.

They Cloned Tyrone is unironically kino.
John Boyega is the black Shia Labeouf, which is funny as fuck because Shia Labeouf sounds like a name for an old-timey negro.
