So my pick? Blade Runner 2049
>Artificial robot man lacks any meaningful relationships except an ai who is forced to love him because she's ai. Despite not having anything, he's content with this. For reasons he has to go on an adventure though where he's the hero who can save robot-kind. His ai waifu is then destroyed even though he can literally just buy another (she says she loves him) and then he discovers that he's not actually the chosen hero but just a random jobber. Upon seeing another version of his ai waifu he either realises that she never loved him and his one act of freewill can be to try and do the right thing despite his programming, or he realises that the projection he saw isn't his waifu and the real waifu actually did love him proving that you're more than just your programming. He then goes on an adventure to save someone else and dies in the process, having never accomplished anything for himself other than fucking a hooker who pretended to be his waifu

I've been over this like 20 times on this board: AVATAR. Whether you like it or not, Avatar's story is specifically designed to be the ultimate wish-fulfillment fantasy for men, just as Titanic is the ultimate wish-fulfillment fantasy for women.

Titanic: Woman fucks chad in her teen years, goes on an adventure, rebels against her mom and gets a great story to tell, ultimately with absolutely no negative social consequences for herself. Then she settles down with a beta and lives a very long happy life.

Avatar: socially atomized cripple regains the ability to walk, becomes much taller than he currently is, wins the respect of a community, flies around on a dragon, becomes the big dick chief, wins the battle, displaces/overcomes his male sexual competition, and gets the girl.
